Sinopsis

While traveling through Ancient Egypt, Mr. Wilson encounters a sandstorm and takes refuge in the nearest pyramid where Aspicia, the daughter of one of Egypt's most powerful pharaohs, is buried. As he falls asleep, lulled by the haze of opium, Aspicia comes to life, and his passion for her leads him on a fantastical journey.

El coreógrafo francés Pierre Lacotte resucitó de forma brillante una obra maestra olvidada exclusivamente para el Teatro Bolshói hace casi veinte años, La hija del faraón de Marius Petipa. Con escenarios exóticos de inspiración egipcia, bailes espectaculares y escenas coreografiadas que reúnen casi la totalidad del cuerpo de baile del Teatro del Bolshói es una de las producciones de más éxito del repertorio de la compañía.
